Great example of Junk Stuttering “Science”

Great example of Junk Stuttering “Science”: A Tx Study using 3 subjects: Tx failed on 2 of 3 = Unimpressive.  Seriously–take some time to read the abstract.  They’re trying a therapy approach on 3 participants.  It’s “successful” on only one participant.  Not-so-much on the other 2.  And even in the abstract–they attribute the “success” of the therapy (on the 1 participant) to the personality of the participant (rather than the actual treatment itself).  So what can we deduce from this?  What many of us have been saying all along; what is done in therapy is secondary to other magical (read: relatively unknown) elements in the therapy process that predicts treatment outcomes.
