Episode 27 of the Stuttering.Me micropodcast is up

Episode 27 is up.  And I actually like this one.  While teaching CSD 521 (graduate class in stuttering), it dawned on me that person-first terminoligy (person who stutters, rather than stutterer) is actually counterproductive.  If there is no shame in stuttering, then what’s wrong with being a stutterer?  Nothing!  If there’s shame in stuttering, then we try to minimize that shame by person-first terminology.  Well, I reject such a premise, because being who I am is 100% alright by me.
