A very powerful post by a mom, PWS

What I love so much about the internet is that it gives you glimpses of the visceral aspects of living.  The raw experiences captured in brief moments of time.  I ran across this post by a mom (PWS) who’s son has begun to stutter.  I’m refraining for commenting (unless asked); suffice it to say that these are the emotions felt by many, but voiced by few.

I voice my feelings in comments about stuttering but some blogs don’t post them! I still cannot fathom the apparent confidence from various self help groups I won’t mention by name. I think they are in denial. How could a person not feel like the aformentioned posted I cannot understand.

Thanks for your restraint, but I can certainly appreciate your point. Emotions, regardless of their political correctness, are very real and valid to the owner–and sometimes emotions may not make rational sense. Any parent, especially a parent who has grown up stuttering, will not inherently want their children to go through needless struggle.
